Hi guys/girls
I recently recieved an ASUS TUF Gaming VG289Q 28" 4K monitor from a friend but the AC Power Supply block/unit is out of commision/dead.
I have done the usual Google hunt/search and Ive found a few retailers in the USA that have them in stock but the post&packing/shipping is laughable,I have also found one on the very well known online global retalier site that has one but its not a genuine ASUS product.
Also Ive tried contacting ASUS directly but Ive got more chance of having a pint and a chit-chat with Lord Lucan than getting anywhere with them.
Do you guys have any suggestions please?.
Cheers.

Main things in those PSU bricks is getting correct voltage and at least same current output capacity.

Though low enough ripple and component quality is harder.
You never know the quality of random China production.
That makes these closed unrepairable PSU bricks lot worser than power supply board inside monitor, which is possible to open for replacing capacitors.
