I wanted to get advice on if I should upgrade my PSU, I am hoping to upgrade my CPU with the new line of intel cpus on the way out since I still run the Intel 2600k at the moment and wouldn't mind a bit of a boost.

I run a few usb devices, 1xSSD and soon another SSD and 2x7200RPM drives with 2x r9 290x.. all this runs on my Corsair AX850w is there any need to upgrade? If so should I go with SuperFlower 1000W or the SuperFlower 1200W or stick with corsair and get a RM 1000?

It's fine but when i record and stream the cpu takes a bit of a hit, why the new cpu would help.

+1 for clocking your current cpu, it will help to get a bit more usage out of your gpu's. Your board can take the i7 3770k, but they do run much hotter and threfore overclocking can be an issue. Not worth upgrading to a haswell cpu tbh, i moved from a 3770k to the spec in sig and tbh it was a bit of a silly move.

I have mine at 4.5ghz, I didn't mean upgrade to a 4770k guys I mean the new cpus rumoured to be out in june (my 2600k would then go into my server). This would be my last upgrade for a while so was thinking about the new versions of the 4930k or 4770k.. I also plan on trying to get a 4k monitor or two more Dell U2713HM monitors by/for christmas (not sure if that matters so much on the gpu)

But you think my psu will be fine?

The new chips released in june are the 1150 devils canyon 17 4970k. Theese are compatible with the soon to be released z79 chipset boards. Despite being 1150 it still remains to be seen wether they will work in current z87 boards. There are new cpu's coming out too for the existing 1150 z87 boards. 4930k is socket 2011, x79 chipset, tbh im not sure on any updates on that platform. Psu should be fine as the AX850 is a decent quality unit unlike the AX i series that are made by a lower quality oem.

Thats a good Gold PSU, try to measure the system now, try overclock the parts, also the 2x290x, but anyway that PSU should be good with a strong OC too.

Sorry for late response, I wont upgrade then as for the CPU I'll wait and see the reviews as if the same as the 4770k etc I wont bother.

As always you guys are super helpfull, thanks for the help.
