hi all i updated my GFX card about a week ago and give my son my PowerColor Radeon RX VEGA 64 Red Devil 8GB HBM2 PCI-Express Graphics Card for his computer the trouble is his power supply only has a 8 pin and a 6pin and the PowerColor Radeon RX VEGA 64 Red Devil 8GB HBM2 PCI-Express Graphics Card needs adouble 8pin, would that be a power supply upgrade or of there a wire i can buy to fix adaptor of sorts

thank you.

You can get adaptors but what make and model psu is it? That is a very power hungry card and ideally should be running off two seperate 8 pin pci-e leads from a decent psu. If that one only has a 8 pin and a 6 pin it's either fairly old or a low end unit and I would be replacing it.

Using Power Save profile in Radeon settings would keep power draw easily inside 8+6 pins with barely any performance decrease.

tbh i think i will just updrage mine and he can have my PSU.. can you spec me a decent one please.

specs are
