For the last few weeks my power supply has been making a high pitched whistling noise but my PC was working fine so I have left it. Last night I switched the PSU off to stop the whistling while the PC wasn't on, but this morning when I switched the PSU on and the whistling was still there but nothing happens when I press the button on the case to start the PC!!
I'm assuming its the PSU that is up the shoot and not the motherboard, would that be correct? If it is can someone recommend a new PSU? The current one is a 450W Antec SP-450P

. Hopefully I won't be disappointed with the OCZ.
might be a b0rked board i'm afraid. Unless someone else can post some other suggestions, but you've tried pretty much everything and replaced the PSU which is the only other culprit.
