power supply

PC power and cooling 860W my firm favourite. I got one back from rma'ing an ocz supply and bought a second since. Quiet, small, and hard as nails. It uses a 3 blade delta running very undervolted, so that its an 80mm doesn't mean it's loud.

Give them a shout and you can have whatever cables you wish attached to it.

One of mine has had its 8 pin processor connection burnt out by a faulty motherboard, and all I've had to do is connect the second 8 pin cable in its place and it's continuing as before. This despite having a single rail design. 7 year warranty is excellent as well

i res at 1920 -1080, i play all games from crysis, farcry 2 and empire total war to age of empire II,

and can everyone remember these PS have to fit into a thermaltake spedo advance

The pc p&c is 15cm long, not a chance it'll be too big. I'm not familiar with thermaltake cases, but I'd be surprised if they violate the atx spec.

Ill measure it, hang on a sec. I more mean that the case and the psu should both conform to atx specification, so any pair should fit. A fair few psus are longer than they should be, so don't fit in some cases. Ill edit with dimensions shortly

Supply is 15 by 15 by 8.5cm, 8.5 being the height. This is as small as any I've seen, and remarkable for an 860W model. It will make routing cables a lot easier if you have at least 3cm spare behind the supply. Note that the airflow through it is straight through rather than in through the base, so vent/fan/source of air on the side where the cables leave the supply is useful.

I don't like that case at all. Far too many holes man, must sound horrific. Not convinced by bottom mounted psus either. But each to their own.

It will however very definitely take the 860W supply I'm recommending, and I think you'll find the long cables on it useful, which will very definitely run everything you want it to. It's also likely to make less noise than anything else in your system, my one is competing with a laing ddc for quiet operation at present and winning.

yep it is everyone to there own, and every has their own opinion, and thanks ever so much =], and oc do nto sell 860 version, so i will have to go for 910 =[ better spec more money =[
