Hi Folks
Just about to order a complete new self build kit.
This is what it is -
"Krypton Ankylosaur" Intel Core i7 2600K 3.40GHz @ 4.60GHz Overclocked Bundle - Asus.
OcUK ATI Radeon HD 6950 Crossfire Bundle.
2 x Samsung SpinPoint F3 1TB SATA-II 32MB Cache.
LG GH22NS50 22x DVD±RW SATA ReWriter.

I am going to order the OcUK Crusade 850W Quad Rail High Efficiency Power Supply.
So will this psu run the above kit ?
This kit will be going into an Antec lanboy(already purchased) with 15 led 120mm fans and two touch screen fan controllers(already purchased).

Any Thoughts Guys
Stu

That power supply only has 2 x 6 Pin PCIe connectors and you'll need 4 for a crossfire 6950 setup.

I suggest you look for something a bit more upmarket.

PS

"Nice" choice of case

The psu is not the place to save money. Buy a decent branded one in the first place. Do not build a high end pc and power it with a low cost piece of garbage psu. Cheap psu's are cheap for a reason. They are crap!!

Never skimp on a PSU. No need to go mental and buy the dearest but never buy the cheapest big number one you can find.

The PSU will run it, and you'll see exploding performance from it (litterally).

I would definitely go with the PSUs RJC suggested.

Ok Guys, been back to overclockers and have chosen this one.
Corsair TX 850W ATX SLI Compliant Power Supply.
Is this one ok ?
Cheers
Stu

A few weeks ago the 650w Antec Truepower new modular psu's were the ones to go for but the prices have seen a ridiculous rise from £65 three weeks ago to the £95 they are now. That's just obscene.
