bascially can someone point me in the right direction of a good power supply at a good price.

i also think that my gpu maybe require more than 650w for a single GPU if you would give advice on any other power supplies it would be helpfull my price range will start from maybe £60 going upwards but not to expensive as i do need my PC back ASAP but do not have wild money to spend.

ty in advance

has this power supply got enough pin sockets for my card as it needs a 4 pin and a 8 pin socket to plug in the card.

4 pin? Should be two 8 pins or 6+8 pins.

The 580 power requirements are roughly equivalent to a 480 (even a bit lower). With a single card setup, a good 650W will do the job. The Corsair TX, XFX 650W Core, XFX 650W XXX, Antec TruPower New 750W, OCZ StealthXStream 700W will do the job.

Even your current OCZ StealthXStream 600W should have been able to take it. If you are unsure, over 700W, the best power to price ratio are the Antec TruPower New 750W and the XFX Core range (OcUK seem to have supply problems with those). Also the TX850 and TX750 a bit more up market.

In the modular range, you have the Corsair HX750W, and the CoolerMaster Silent Pro Modular both at £109. The Antec TruPower New 750W also has some modularity.
