Look to spec myself a new Windows machine for Flight Sim FSX. The above setup seems to do what I want with two graphics cards for 4 monitors. Any comments or observations welcome.

The main point of the thread is what size of power supply should I get with this setup. Before I had a Corsair 650watt running two cards but this was in the days of core 2 duo being top of the range so I need some updating!

Cheers

Whats your budget for a power supply? Also do you need the i7? The only difference between that and an i5 is the Hyperthreading for applications like video rendering etc. No effect in games.

Hi

Ok, I didn't know that! I will only want this machine for flight sim so I could manage with i5 then - thanks

The budget would be upto £100, but if a cheaper one will do then all well and good.

Thanks
