power suppy right or wrong way ?

hi all i have a cm storm enforcer case and a antec truepower new 650 w and i am currently putting it in but the problem is that it fits both ways but if i put the fan facing up the thinck power cables are at the window side of the case will it be ok to face down ? has a filter underneath so think will be ok ?

The fan facing down is fine, i think thats how it's meant to be. You want to draw cool air from outside the case (in this case, from underneath the case), so the fan on the psu can cool the components inside the psu and push it outside the case (not drawing the hot air inside the case). Hope all this makes sense.

if the fan is blowing out of the PSU, then down is good. If it is sucking air, and you put it facing down, then make sure you have a clean floor, and you have a removable dust filter underneath.
