Specs:
Asus P8Z77-V LX2 Intel Z77 mobo
Intel Core i5 3570K 3.50GHz
Patriot Intel Extreme Masters 8GB 1600MHz ram
EVGA GeForce GTX 660 Superclocked 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
Corsair Builder Series CXM 600W Modular 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX/EPS PSU

Basically built this pc myself. At first i had a problem with it hard crashing (no blue screen or anything) then restarting up to the Asus "Power Supply Surges detected during the previous power on." This would happen randomly, playing games (guild wars 2, battlefield 3, witcher 2) or just generally on the internet. I found the cause to be my old PSU from my previous pc, was a powerful psu but an old one. I replaced it a few months ago to the new corsair one. It has been working fine for about 2 months no problems. Then suddenly today it happened again.

I have been looking at temps and voltz. Gave it a clean checked my fans etc.

Only thing so far was removing the graphics card and using the on board graphics from the motherboard, and it hasnt shut down for about 4 hours now.

Could it be a faulty graphics card or something else?
