So we had a lightning strike and power surge a week or so ago, it fried a lot of my equipment as i'd moved my avr and pc from a surge protector recently to a standard socket......
Anyway it fried the hmdi chips on the avr so have replaced that, currently getting my GPU tested as think it fried that or the pci slot, I can boot through the onboard gpu but system crashes to blue screen after about 3 min.
I assume the problem could be something else fried on the mobo, the cpu or the psu? Is it just a case or replacing and testing each!!? or is there something it will most likely be? Any thoughts appreciated.
