I've ordered one of these 12V Blue Power/angel eye LED metal Push button switch car, except the non latching version.
Outside contacts are -, +12v.
Looking at the wiring diag center pin connects - ground to +ve when button is pushed.
Now I wish to connect the mobo power on off wires to the switch (- and center pin), with power to the - and +12v supplied from a molex.
So when pc is switched on power is supplied from molex and led lights up.
The big question is will I need a diode (16v zener?)in series from the centre pin to one of the mobo connectors to stop current flowing through the board or is it case of dont bother its not going to work?
