I'm currently in the process of building a PC inside a TV stand as a media centre.

At the moment I'm just using some switches ripped from an old case but would prefer to have something a bit prettier! If I get a couple of push to make switches, is it just as simple as cutting the existing switches from their connectors and soldering the new ones on?

Also, does anyone know where in the UK you can buy ATX power switches with the motherboard connectors already on? (i.e. http://www.directron.com/atxswitch.html)

How about Anti-Vandal momentary push button switches. Stainless Steel, and pretty too. (http://www.lambind.com/news/news2006.shtml) has a range, but they dont have a shop. Prepare to spend a few quid on one. They are pricey. Sometimes you see them auctioned cheaper.
The ones you linked to are cheapest of the cheap. Though they do the job.
You can buy the headers for the motherboard, they are called KK headers. Easier to find an old box and nick one though.

Thanks guys, particularly for

It's so much easier to look for things when you know what they're called :)

Been out this morning and got a nice anti vandal switch from an electrical store. Works perfectly :)
