Power to Laptop

Just a quick question, is it better to use mains power or battery power if charged (obviously) or does it just not matter.

i suppose it doesnt really matter, @ work i always use the laptop with the power cable plugged in, and when traveling use it without and it seems to work fine......

I do the same, for two reason...1 it doesn't randomly say "PLUG IN POWER NOW F00L!" 2 YOu can just unplug and go when you actually NEED to run off batteries
