power up prob

hi my problem is that when i power up the tower lights up for 2 seconds then goes out for about 10 seconds then fires up and away to go with no futher problems it is an e6300 which is overclocked to about 2.3ghz (fsb 320) but i have not touched any voltages is this the problem?

i have read people getting 3ghz + with an e6300 how?

with what settings?

my system is asus p5b deluxe
e6300
artic freezer pro 7
2 ghz pcr 6200 mem
ati x1900gt gcard
seasonic s12 480watt psu

Sounds like the common double boot problem some people (including myself) suffer from with these boards.

You could try a Bios update, however it didnt fix anything for me, I just live with it
