Poweramp and Spotify

Is it possible to play downloaded spotify tracks through poweramp?

I have downloaded the tracks to my phone but Im wondering if its possible to play through poweramp as I prefer it.

Ive read some things online that suggest you can but cant find a way to get poweramp to import the songs.

there is an app which unlocks files for play in other apps but when i tried to use it, it was awful (kept skipping even with the buffer set to max on a high end phone the nexus 5) therefore i won't bother mentioning it.

what's wrong with playing them in spotify?

I prefer the power amp widget in all honesty. I'd use the Spotify one if it didn't look so awful. The actual playing experience is ok, no eq settings but its quick. I prefer how Poweramp organises things though.

I'll keep hoping that Spotify enable support for playing local files on other players.

Spotify updated the other day with a new look theme and has a fairly robust EQ section.

Can't find the equaliser section? I'm on the latest one for my phone 1.0.0.82

Its not bad I just like having all my music in one place.

Its a HTC one with the latest updates, perhaps because it already has the "beats" audio profile they never bothered to offer equaliser settings. Guess they dont realise some people dont like beats
