Powercolor 7950?

It gets a pretty good write up here and here.

The only thing I would say is that Powercolor don't have a very good reputation for customer service and RMAs, so if it breaks after 12 months it won't be as smooth as with other brands (like Gigabyte which has a UK RMA service or HIS where I believe OCUK cover the RMA for the whole 2 years).

I'd hope that OCUK would cover the 2 years on the 7950 PCS+ (Or act middle man since they'd be hard to get in touch with, like HIS)

I'm quite impressed with the card, mainly its acoustics and thermals.

I'm pretty much decided on getting a PCS+ 7950 regardless of the "inflated price", it's been a long time since I had an upgrade and I do fancy having a single powerful card. I think it'll be a bit overkill for runescape thought!! haha.. I do play bf3 too though!

On a certain auction site lots of faulty cards seem to be powercolor also. Seems to be all I ever see. :D

Would definitely go Gigabyte for what £35 more? For a card which will probably run cooler, quieter and overclock better. Have a similar windforce gtx 580 and it's brilliant.

I'm buying the same card.

My current card is a Powercolor 5870 PCS+ and I have been more than happy with it.
