Hi guys

Had a few problems atiflashing and now even flashing my stock bios back on a 'new' 7970 is giving me a Windows 'Code 43' error... (usually Device Driver related?)

(this was after using a 280 BIOS, I've since flashed it back to stock and have the same problem).

The 7970 is a reference-ish card with a blower.

My primary card is a MSI 7950 TFIII, the 7970 is in a low PCI-e slot (for better cooling when mining - not 24/7).

Am I better running each card individually to sort the BIOS problems out and using some kind of 'Driver cleaner' to remove cats inbetween each setup, then when happily finally fit both cards again?

Ok looks like my MSI 7950 TFIII is to blame as without it installed the 7970 is more than happy! Argh!

Anyone with a good BIOS for the TFIII for mining & gaming?

Ok problem resolved... Kinda!

I've finally got both back to stock - long story but the -p flag in atiflash doesn't always work to PCI slot (as most guides say) - I ended up with my 7950 flashed as a 7970 and my 7970 flashed to 7950... Windows reported Error 43 for both and I had to pull each card and flash separately back to stock (and then tried all the BIOS' I could, 7950 is sorted but drew a blank finding a stable BIOS for the 7970).
