Doing a favour for someone and have bitten off more than I can chew..
I have 3 video sources and a separate audio recording which covers everything from start to finish.
I need to make one 45 minute video, mixing from one source to another. I have worked out how to use the multicam designer but I can't for the life of me work out how to 'crossfade'?? between each camera source manually?
I could 'cut' out the bits I don't want but that would be laborious and I can't imagine this is the done way to edit videos??
It's easy to do what I want with audio editing software as I'd just set up some automation so the volume of one track fades out as another increases, doing it this way means each track can stay as one long track rather than being chopped up in to lots of little pieces that are hard to re-edit.
Any help would be much appreciated, even if it's just telling me the name of what I'm trying to do so I can search for the solution!
