PowerDVD 7.3 changing colour scheme to Win7 Basic

I've recently got a Blu Ray drive which came with PowerDVD 7.3 and when I went to watch a Blu Ray movie in it the colour scheme changed to windows 7 basic while it was playing. I have googled but couldn't see anything about this and I was just wondering whether this is normal behaviour?

just means powerDVD isn't compatible with aero in v7.3
maybe the newer versions are?

Yes it's normal for that version.

Happens to me as well. It is annoying but I don't know of anyway to fix it. I've got PowerDVD 9 btw.

OK thanks guys. I did wonder if it was normal but thought it was best to check there wasn't some underlying problem

Win 7 Premium also does this with my computer when I play Fallout 3. Doesn't seem to make any difference that I can see.
