powered usb hub

Hi any recommendations for the above, atm only to power an external dvd drive ?

I recently bought a TP-Link UH700 which seems pretty good so far (it is only powering 3 USB2 controllers at the minute so I have hardly really stressed it).

There is another model with an extra pair of rapid charging ports too.

I have a UGreen one that's pretty decent - it's certainly never caused me any issues.

ORICO Clip-type USB 3.0 HUB 4 Ports Splitter

Orico clip type usb 3.0 hub 4 ports is a good little hub and if you require extra power you can power it with micro usb... its also cheap paid £12 for mine

I use the rshtech ones, not cheap but has plenty of power and each port has a switch, the psu is 24W.

Thank everyon, please explain have I got this wrong, I was looking for hubs powered from the main, can I get one powered via a usb charger (like a phone charger) ?

Every powered hub I have seen is powered via a barrel jack. I assume this is a combinarion of avoiding support confusion over:
- What provides the power and what handles the data
- Generic USB chargers cap out around 10W (6V 2a without special protocols) whereas hubs like the UH700 take a 12V supply to give 30+ Watts
