If any of you guys have lights on your motherboard, and if you unconnect the power lead from the psu with a powered usb hub still connected,, the lights will remain lit up on the motherboard untill the hub is pulled out or power source is disconnected.

oh yeh, if you switch on the pc with only the power from the hub, it wont have enough power to power it up, but when you connect the power lead up to the psu,, the system will turn on by its self,, cos you had turned it on with just the power from the hub so its already on when you connect the powerlead back up to the psu,,,, does that make sense guys??

With my old system I had a psu that the fan would keep spinning for 5 or 10mins after turning off the pc,,and 1 day i shut down the pc and unconnected the power lead and the fan remained on because of the powered usb hub was sending power to the psu also,, but as soon as you disconnect the usb hub the psu fan would stop.

You would think motherboards would have like valves to stop power from a usb hub going through the board and psu.
