I am using the PowerEdge T110 II as a media type server but, for now, I have brought it down from the loft and connected it to a monitor. I am noting.....
that after the POST it seems to take a long time before Windows even starts to boot, black screen. Longish video, but that is the point about it.
For now I have each HD port turned off in the BIOS except for the single SSD inside of it used to boot Windows.
Is there anything else that I could look at that would resolve that black blank period during boot..?
I had not noted that when it was left in the loft and hardly ever needed to be rebooted.

Not related, but I have just bought a NVIDIA GT710 2GB Graphics Card for it, from eBay.
