Hi all, I have a relatively powerful gaming PC with only the CPU in a PWM header so of course the result is a rather loud sounding PC, but as I only ever wore headphones before it was perfectly fine for me. Now im looking to play my games on my tv which means through a soundbar that's connected to my tv, so first of all I need the PC to be quieter or i'll have to have the soundbar up too loud anyway, but also I was going to build a HTPC but then I thought if my PC is going to be connected to my tv anyway, is it possible if I connect every fan to a PWM hub or use a fan controller, is it possible to essentially make my gaming PC silent for watching movie purposes? im sure it must be but how silent could it become? I have a GTX 670 and an i5 3550k for reference so any help or tips would be greatly appreciated :)

My current idea is moving to an Enthoo Luxe and using its PWM header perhaps? and I know watercooling would be the best option but that isn't viable right now unfortunately, thank you :)

you can use one or two pwm headers on the motherboard and buy a cheap fan controller for the rest

idk what cpu cooler you using but switching to quieter fans might also help

Which motherboard do you own? On my Z77 MPower i have complete control over every fan using only the fan headers on the motherboard. Some of them are 3 pin and use voltage to control the speeds.

Have a look at what control you have using speedfan. You can set fan curves as well.
