Just received my new card however my psu box has been "miss-placed" which has left me with the 6 pin power cable connected but only 1 of the 2 4-pin molex cables connected to the 8-pin. The PSU is modular so I removed all the unneeded power cables. Luckily It seems to be enough to power my desktop but I'm better not much more ?

Not sure what you're asking, buy another cable for your PSU? You'll need to use both the 6 and 8 pin aux power on the GPU otherwise you'll end up having issues under load or even possibly damaging the card

You might need to use both 4 pin molex connectors but I always preferred to use direct PCI-E cables.

What PSU have you got.

I ended up venturing into the dark, cold, spider infested garage to find my PSU box, which had the extra cables in for the PSU. So the gfx now has all the required power cables connected :)
