Hi guys, I attempted to install my 2 7950's in crossfire just now, however I cant find the 4th PCI-E modular cable from my corsair HX750. I have 2 of them powering the first and one for the second. I do however have a 3 pin molex to 6 pin PCI cable. Will I be able to power the second one with 1 of each or will I have power problems/risks? Hope I explained it properly!

Cheers

This 6-Pin to 8-Pin adapter ought to do the trick. As far as I know, the extra two pins on the 8-Pin are both grounding ones and don't provide any additional power. So the layout should end up looking like this

PSU --> 8-Pin #1 --> 7950 #1
PSU --> 8-Pin #2 --> 7950 #1

PSU --> 8-Pin #3 --> 7950 #2
PSU --> 6-Pin --> Cubitek 6-Pin to 8-Pin Adapter --> 7950 #2
