Powering PSU without plugging in?

Hi,

I know this has been asked before but I can't find the thread when i searched for it. Basically want to do the wire in the atx plug to get the psu to power up with out having to plug it into the motherboard. Someone supplied a link to a website that had a good explination of how to do it, can some one post it here pls?

Also if this info could be put in the sticky it would help a lot of other peeps i think.

I'm sure to 'hotwire' the psu use a bit of wire of paper clip and connect the green wire (PS_ON#) to one of the black wires (COM) and hey presto, just have a single fan connected to start off with to check all is ok
