Hi guys,

I need to power up my system without the mainboard to get my watercooling back up and running. I haven't got a PSU bridging connector and so found a few pages where they describe the paperclip trick between the green and black connectors. This would be great if my Corsair AX850 PSU cables weren't all black :/ Could someone post which connectors I need to connect. As a reference, the blank connector is on the top and 5 from the right. I believe the paperclip needs to go on the bottom between pins 4 and 5?

Cheers,

Jed

Make sure the retention clip is on the same side as the pic.

Its 4+5th pin or 3rd+4th.

Is the power switch on the rear of the PSu ON?
