Hi, I was wondering if someone with some knowledge could help
The father inlaw is quite ill at the mo (cancer) and my other half is going to stay with him for a bit while he starts his treatment. She will be working from their house and needs a network cable connection to do her work, which is what she does here through our Netgear powerline 1000 kit (just a pair)
Now her father has BT infinity, and it uses a pair of BT's extender flex powerline plugs, to get from the home hub to the BT tv box.
My question is, if she takes one of our Netgear PLP 1000 plugs, is it possible to pair it with the BT extender thats connected to the back of his homehub?
Speed isnt really an issue, as it doesnt need to be fast, and her fathers homehub is far away from any area to setup a working space....hence the need for a powerline extender.
He lives miles away, so its not practical to pop round back and forth trying stuff
Many Thanks
Mick
