Looking for a bit of help.
Helping out a charity, they work in a big old building so thick walls they have an office at one end and the big long corridor and a few rooms then at the other end is a new church all built into it.
They wanted wifi coverage of the site, ( there is 2 laptops in the office, 4 seldom used ones in the side rooms and one in the back of the church) In the office they have a orange hub and a Unifi Long range AP which I thought would do the job, unfortunately they are still getting a some dead spots. I know one option is to run a long wire from the router and position the AP further down the building, however its a old building and the walls are thick. So was thinking about a Powerline adapter, to avoid running a cable then plug the AP into that?

It'll work okay in theory. Powerline adapters are a bit hit-and-miss so there's no way of knowing beforehand.

If there's any chance of running a cable then do it.

If it's a big building then consider using multiple access points. With the Unifi APs this is very simple to configure.
