i just say talk talk want your money so tell you to go with them.

it shouldnt make a difference what brand you go for (although different brands can be better than others)

I bought the same ones last weekend and they work great, i can still download at my full speed on BT FTTC. 74mbps.

TP-Link ones are great, I've had three since December and never had a problem with them. Just plugged them all in, turned them on and they found each other without any action from me at all.

Like said, they'll be a small amount of chipsets so all the same on the inside but with a large amount of varied branding and case designs.

To most important thing is the wiring in your house and how the plugs are wired together. They'll work better on the same ring circuit for example. Going from downstairs to up will mean going through the CU and would introduce more noise from other circuits. Shouldn't make much difference though if your in a properly wired house.
