powerline adapters

hi bought some powerline adapters

they are belkin F5D4076uk 1000mbps

after reading reviews they are looking like i will have to return them

on the same electic socket the max i gan get out of them in 11MBps
thats well short of the 100MBps they are rated
i did not expect to get the full speed but half would be nice

so just to put me straight

1000mbps = 100MBps?

the 11MBps i get is 110mbps speed?

so what can people reccomend then ?

really want at 500mbps or 50MBps

any advice?

thanks for that, the real question is can i get transfer rates of at least 20MBps (i get 80MBps using cat5) assuming good electrics using 500mbps adapters
dividing it down in therory yes but in reality?
