Powerline adapters!

Just wondering can you plug them into a surge protecter? If not how do you stop surges going straight to your components via Ethernet cable?

Yeah you can as I have done this while I mull over a better socket arrangement.

I've used some TP Link ones through Surge Protected extension, it didn't work at all. I did have around 7 other plugs in it, so that didn't help. Worked ok through a double adapter, just not through the extension lead.
