Powerline adaptor with multiple devices

I have 2 media devices next to each other (Media box & Sky HD) that I want to connect to my router in another room using 500mb Powerline adaptors.

Do I need an adaptor for each device or could I get one adaptor for the Media & Sky box to share using a 10/100 switch? Would this be a bottleneck?

The 10/100 witch will work fine. Most powerline adaptors only have the 1 ethernet port, but some models by some makes have inbuilt switches, typically 2 or 3 ethernet ports on the adapter.

If you do use multiple adaptors, I have read it is helpful to indvidually connect each powerline adapter with device to the mode,/router adapter, unplug and do the next adaper/device independantly.

Just use a switch. I have my ps3, xbox and pc all on the one powerline adapter.
