I have just purchased a DHP 301 powerline kit and this is how it is currently setup. 1 unit connected straight into my internet connection, 2nd unit connected to my router and then my router connects to my PC. I am having trouble accessing the router though through Explorer. I have a DI 524 router and need to setup the wifi so my PS3 can also access the internet. Any help would be appreciated.

My main problem with my setup is knowing where to connect the wires. Currently the setup is powerline to #1 on router then #2 router to PC LAN connection. I am able to connect to the web but not the router itself through internet explorer. My PS3 will no longer connect to the web wirelessly through the router.
Ok I have looked at my network maps with my USB Access point connected I am able to wifi with my router but the router is not connecting to the web and therefore my PS3 is not connecting to the web. In network maps I am showing as having 2 networks. 1 is my homeplug setup and the the other is my router, pc and ps3, unfortunately this will no longer connect to the web. I guess I need to know where to plug in the wires on the router so that it broadcasts the internet via wifi and the pc connects via the LAN. The PS3 is the only hardware that needs wifi for the web.

I am a little perplexed as to why installing the powerline plugs should affect the wireless capability. Maybe the plugs are putting out rogue packets?

Maybe you should switch off wireless on the router itself, and then attach a wireless access point to one of the powerline plugs and then the setup wouldn't get confused by rogue packets.

That would not work for my network though as I need to have wifi for my PS3 to work.
Here is a network diagram of my current setup, its not working yet though as for some reason the internet will not go through the LAN connection but only connect through my PC's wifi access point.
