As above guys, Got my powerline set-up and speeds are not only 10mb+ faster they're also much more consistent.

I've disabled WiFi on my Sky router and using the WiFi from my powerline adapters.

But I was thinking, Do I HAVE to use my Sky router?

Can I not just plug the Ethernet cable from my modem straight into my main powerline adapter and remove the Sky router from the equation entirely?

If you have a modem then I take it you're on sky fibre? If so then you need a router still, the modem won't work alone.

I would think it needs to have a wan port, essentially making it a mini router type powerline. If its just a lan port then no.
