Powerline issue

I've have a pair of TP Link 201 powerline adaptors. They work fine with my desktop, however when I installed a new SSD the machine wouldn't see them. I swapped in my old SSD and all was fine, so no issues with the hardware.

I installed the latest software from TP Link's website, to no avail.

I've tried resetting the hardware, just in case, with no change.

Any advice? Google has not helped, neither has the search function on here.

Clean install, or cloned from the old SSD?

If it's a clean install are the network drivers installed and working?

I tried cloning the original SSD, but came up against a BOOT MGR error that the Win 7 disc refused to deal with, so went for a clean install. Network drivers... might just go check those.

I got some TP link powerlines recently, never installed the software (as it's not available for Macs) but they worked as if I was connected to the home hub. Weird that you get this problem, try drivers for your Ethernet though

Thank you, it was a driver issue. A reinstall of the LAN driver got everything working again.
