Righto, well, ive had enough of this wireless malarky.. cant use xbox live with the constant drops so im looking at this solution.

Trouble is, it depends on the quality of wiring i imagine and i dont want to spend £130 on kit thats gonna give me wireless performance once more. What are peoples experiences with these? Anyone managed to get the full 200Mbps out of them?

I bought a set of Powerline adapters (not Netgear) from OCUK, £70 or more, and I get no more than 11Mbps from them. Why?
I just boxed them back up and shoved them away :(

Well, depending on the sort you bought will be a major factor, whether 14/85/200Mbps. And then the quality of your electrical wiring, if you used it in a surge protector, other utilities on your electric.. lots of factors really can damage the signal.. but it should be better than wireless..

Bugger :( I didn't realise there were different speed ratings. I bought 2 of these - they were the only ones OCUK stocked at the time I bought them.

- Transfer rates of up to 14 Mbps for that product mate, thats why your gettin 11 odd out.. 14 would be like lab conditions..
