I bought a pair of these, and I have them set up, working amazingly. But my question is, if I buy another pair, but use both of the pair for connecting other devices to the network, will all the required traffic still get to the router (but at 1/3 the speed or whatever)?

tl;dr: Have 2x powerline, 1 at router, one at pc, if I get 2 more, 1 for xbox 1 for another pc, will it all work? (But how can 2 lines be too long?)

Yes, they'll work together. The most you should have to do is sync them together using the built-in buttons. If you have't configured security (which would be a good idea) they should just work.

RTFM:D

It varies. If the adapters came with a utility program there's a fair chance there'll be an option in there.

Otherwise it usually involves pressing and holding down the reset buttons in the correct order (may require a paper clip or similar).

If you don't configure the security there's a small chance that any near neighbours also using Powerline adapters could end-up connected to your network.
