Powerline suggestions

Hi, just wondering if anyone can give any suggestions for my specific need.

I'd like 3 powerline adapters but few seem to come in packs of 3, I realise I could buy a pack of 2 and add to it, but they don't often seem to come individually either and it seems a shame to splash out on 4 when I only need 3. As for other requirements, ideally I'd like passthrough though probably not essential, I'd like 2 ports on the adapters rather than just the 1, I'm not bothered about built in WiFi. As for speed, I guess while I'm buying them I may as well get something decent but realistically as long as I can transmit my 52mb broadband speeds to other devices that's fine.

Anyone have any suggestions that fit the bill?

I can't offer recommendations but I can tell you that you're unlikely to get 52Mbit/s no matter what it says on the box.

Really? I understand you don't get anywhere near the quoted speeds but from what I've read I thought that should be easily achievable.

I don't think 52Mbps is asking too much of the recent higher end adapters.

Performance is very variable so all you can do is try them on your wiring. I'd be looking at AV1200 adapters from a retailer with a sympathetic returns policy.

Running a couple of network cables not an option?

Sync speed on my 500's is around the 330mbit mark, granted they are limited to the 100mbit ports, but I can easily max my 52mbit profile, same way I could with the 200mbit adapters I used to have (80ish sync).

Thanks, yeah I was wondering if I could get away with 500's. I've seen a Devolo 500 triple pack for about £65 (or strangely £50 if I buy a twin pack and single pack), no passthrough but has the dual ports I want. Did think about maybe splashing out more on some TP-Link 1200 or 2000 but annoys me that they only come in packs of 2.

One other thing to note is the house was rewired a few years back so that should help with performance.

Re. running cables, maybe one day when its convenient but not for now.
