Powerline - What do i need?

Hi Guys

Currently have Sky on wireless on 1 PC, no other devices needed and the wireless although good does jump around a tad so i looked at a few of these powerline adaptors today and to be honest i ama tad lost as to what the difference with them all is. The max i can get is 5meg anyway from sky so i assume i can get a cheap one?

Im in a new build and the connecting PC is upstairs if that matters, there wewre a few for around £80 today in the purple shirts but there seemed to be 3 variants NETGEAR and i cant fathom what the diffference is.

Can be had pretty cheap, check hotukdeals etc, any will do really unless your moving vast ammounts of data around the lan.

What's wrong with the £36.98 pair from OcUK?

There are a lot of different adapters out there but they’re all based on a very limited number of chipsets.

In this case Wikipedia should be able to provide any necessary information.
