Powerline wireless range extender

How did you find it, and if your main wireless router was non-netgear did you have any problems?

I have a friend with underfloor heating in their house, basically a mesh of copper pipes under all the floors. Can't get a wireless signal upstairs at all because of it, and I was looking at this to sort the problem.

Saw a lot of stuff for the direct ethernet to ethernet stuff, but couldn't see anything for the wireless extender. Ordered now anyway, so I'll find out soon enough
