Current set up is

Sky router
4 Belkin HD Powerlines

Sometimes when we turn the pc's on connected to the powerlines, there is no network connectivity.

The only way to restore the connection we've found is to turn off the router and unplug all four power lines. Then start the router up, wait for it to connect, then turn the power lines back on.

Then as if by magic they all have network connectivity again.

This is a bit of a pain in the bum shall we say and im sure someone must know whats causing the lack of connection without a restart of everything?

Thanks

Ye, ethernet from router to powerline A. Then powerline B, C & D in other rooms plugged into computers

Yes 2 pcs are Permenetly connected via direct Ethernet to the rooter and connection never drops. It's just the pcs connected via
Power lines that seem to have problems

If that's the case, I would see if there's newer firmwire you can flash the homeplugs with. That should help solve it... if not, try one PC connected at a time to the network first, and see if there's one that could be causing the fault.

I'll try flashing the firmware. The pcs are rarely all
On together, it happens randomly to any of the connections for the power line connected
Pcs, whether one be on or all three. So I don't think that effects it

I've also set the pc's as static ips to see if it was some sort of networking conflict, dosent help the situation.

Does anyone else have these problems with powerlines? I wonder if it's somthing to do with the wiring in our house or somthing like that
