Powermac G5 stuck at Apple logo screen, its the grey Apple logo screen. I took the hard drive out and put it in another G5 and it boots up fine?

Pull the side panel off, are all the capacitors on the logic board bulging?

An atx reset for macs, remove power cord, hold power button for 10 seconds, attempt to reboot and listen for any bleeps

The G5 is a pre Intel one, it uses Apples own CPU

And then throw it away because it's nearly a decade old and your phone is probably quicker.

Doesn't it use an IBM PowerPC processor, not Apple derived?
