My cards powerplay seems to go crazy while using google chrome, the temps are something between 55-63 and the GPU usage is weird...

I've a modded BIOS and the lates 14.7 drivers, but this happend on 13.12 and 14.4 as well. This never happened before on Windows 8.1 Pro or previously on same system as now (Windows 7 64bit ultimate).

Edit

I've installed Torch which is based on chromium/chrome and it works flawlessly :D

Edit2

Nope, its still bad and sloooow...

Have you set your 2d profiles?

You must be new to AMD cards. Didn't you know low power states don't work properly?

;)

Well, I've had this card for 2 years now? :p
P.s. Previously it was only nvidia for me, but AMD seem to be better value at the time 7950 cameout soo.. :D

Disable hardware acceleration in chrome?

I'll try this out, I've a plugin which forces the flash players to HTML5 that seems to help to downclock while browsing.

You are using more than 1 monitor? If yes than I don't think there's anything you can do, but some people had problems with single 120hz monitors as well.
