Powerpoint Help

After some help from those who use it more than me

Basically I am trying to get a video to appear and then play on click .. so usual power-point stuff. Click appear a load of stuff, then last click (i want the video to appear then play) but i seem to have trouble with it.

It either appears in the slide from the get go and then runs after last previous click. Or it appears on last click but will not play. I'm sure its something simple.

There are so many options in Powerpoint it can be hard to see exactly what you need to get it working properly.

Yeh i have in my own research visited that exact site. I don't seem to have the option "In Click Sequence" only "automatically" or "on click" both of which do as they say on the tin so to speak. But ... Automatically does work but the video still shows on the slide from the get go, rather than appears after the last click and then playing. (which is what im after)

does right clicking on the video when it's embedded result in any further options?

Using 2016 Pro Plus.

Yes Right Clicking does give you further options, but nothing to aid me any further as far as i can tell. Specifically to playback there are options that you get from the same Video Tools menu in the ribbon bar at the top. Again which either has "On Click" or "Automatically"
