powerpoint slide transitions

I'm trying to make the slides transition after say 5 secconds but for some reason its not working.

I'm using Powerpoint 2003, I've gne to Slide Show > Slide Transition, then selected the desired transition on the right then unticked "On Mouse click" and ticked "Automatically after" and set it to 00:05.

saved it then tried to view it but nothing it just stays on the slide.

anyone any idea what i'm missing or is access screwed ?

You need to select a transition type. It'll be set to No transition at the minute.

Its just above where you set the delay.

Yep done that , set it to fade and the slide fades in then nothing, also tried adding the same transision too all sides so in theory they all should fade in one after another after 6 sec intervals. But nothing thinking it could be a powerpoint problem.

Will try and get it installed on another PC and see if its any better

Sorted it, had to go into Slide Show > Set up show, then tick the option "using timings if present". lol
