Powerpoint!

Ok guys got to do a presentation for grad assessment day and it needs to be done on powerpoint. I have powerpoint on the pc but ive never used it before. was wondering if anyone can point me towards some good tutorials? cheers guys

ok guys quick question. when i start the presentation the first slide comes up. basically the slide is just has a header at the top and then 4 points below.

id like it so that when that slide appears, just the header is there, and then when i click, the first point comes up. allowing me to talk about that particular point without showing the other points.

then when i click again, the second point come up and so on. how is this achieved? im using office xp by thw ay. cheers

Go to Slideshow and then Custom Animation. You should be on the Order & Timing tab by default. Here you can select what comes in and in what order.

bit more complex question now.

same sort of slide. header at the top then when i click, the points im looking at appear one by one. Once the third poing is revealed id like to add a picture. thing is i would like it on a seperate slide so it doesnt clog up the slide. once i click again i would like it to return to the previous slide and reveal the fourth and final point. anyway of doing this? cheers

Just copy the first slide. Insert it in the order AFTER the picture slide. But have no animation stuff on the 2nd copy. So you go through the points, then look a the pic and instead of going BACKWARDS you go FORWARDS to a copy of the slide before with all the points to see from the off.

Lateral thinking, its going to revolutionise the world. Trust me!
