I'm currently building a PC and have an 800W power supply. It has what I assume is a ground wire coming out of the same hole as all of the power cables. Do I just tuck this away somewhere touching the case?

i5 3570K CPU
8GB 1600Mhz Corsair vengeance RAM
2TB Caviar black
Z77-DS3H mobo
AMD Radeon 7850 PCS+
NZXT Phantom Case

Not sure exactly what the PSU is called, it's a tagan Dual-engine 800W

I was going to get the standard Z77-D3H as recommended by the forums but they only had the DS3H at the computer I got a lot of the parts at.
What's wrong with the PSU? And how much would i be able to sell it for?

You wouldn't be able to sell it for anything.
And its a horribly cheap generic PSU.
Why didn't you order off OcUK?

I was going to but I was going to a computer fair anyway so i thought I would get some parts there.
Is the motherboard ok?

Ehhh? Did I search up some particularly bad reviews cause I came across a few on Toms which had people saying don't buy them.., :/

Tagan were always considered a decent brand, OEM Topower.

They seem to have lost market share in the UK, maybe they pulled out?

Main issue with that model is the age, as it was made when small louder fans were still common. :)

My apologies then, I will endevour to take further look at testings of the PSU's. How old is the PSU then?

Will it blow up? If not, where do i put the ground wire. I can always update it later if it's too loud but if it will work and is safe then i'll just perservere till I can get another.
