Powers up after powering down??

hey guys,

i have a strange issue with my PC, when i try and put it to sleep or shut down, most of the time it will cut out for a few seconds then power back up

everything works totally fine, apart from this. can someone please shed some light on this??

What is your PC spec? Any code or beeps on motherboard?

I get a similar experience, the majority of time I switch my PC off it just re-starts, sometimes it just seems to sleep but not wake up with 05 on the mtherboard readout. Asus Maximus Gene as in the signature here.

Never managed to get it resolved, Asus forum drew a blank, no idea. Does my head in.
